| Stuart McKinnon - Trainer & Fighter |
Stuart started martial arts at 4 years old following his fathers foot steps in Shotokan Karate. Stuart’s father originally owned Karate schools in Scotland and Australia giving Stuart his passion for martial arts. Stuart achieved first dan black belt at 10 years of age, competing in numerous tournaments virtually undefeated as a junior until the age of 17 where he was introduced to Muay Thai kick boxing.
At this point Stuart realised kickboxing was his next big challenge. Training closely with the founder of Bulldog Gym Nick Stone has been Stuarts mentor and trainer since 1992 travelling around Australia stamping the Bulldog name in the ring where ever they went. Together they formed a life long friendship. Stuart second home was Thailand’s Fairtex training camp in Bangkok where he learnt physical and mental conditioning.
Stuarts kickboxing fight record of 30 fights for 27 wins, 17 in the way of KO’s, winning his last 20 straight which included World Kick boxing title and Commonwealth Muay Thai title. Stuart also ventured into professional boxing with 6 fights and 6 wins gained him much respect nation wide within the boxing and kick boxing community. Stuart was known for his speed and precision technique which he now passes onto his students at Bulldog Gym Castle Hill. Now retired Stuart’s focus is on his younger brother Steven McKinnon who recently won the WBC Super Cruiser weight title in Jamaica.
Stuart has also trained many World and National Champions some of these include Shane Meads, Frank Zammit, Danny Abduhla and Mick Neilland. Stuart also trains a number of young up and coming fighters that are constantly in the winner’s corner.

| Steve McKinnon - Trainer & Fighter |
Steve following in his brothers footsteps also starting martial arts at a young age under the guide of his father achieving black belt and moving over to Muay Thai at the age of 15. Steve is still a professional fighter and just defeated WBC World ranked number one taking home the title which he now proudly displays at the Castle Hill gym.
Steve is known more for his aggression and power, combined with Stuart’s speed and technique makes for the perfect trainers. Steve also extensively trained and lived in Thailand over the years.
Steve’s fight record is 34 fights, 30 wins, 26 by KO. Steve also has a number of belts to his name which include:

2 x Australian Champion
1 x South Pacific Champion
1x Commonwealth Champion
4 x World Champion

| Chris Logan - Trainer |
Chris Logan has trained with both the brothers for over 10 years, being involved in training the up and coming fighters, taking some of the classes. Chris has also trained and lived in Thailand at Fairtex camp.

| Jay - Trainer & Fighter |
Jay has been training with at Bulldog gym along side Stuart and Steve McKinnon
since 2005. From 2008, after having a few fights and training in Thailand, Jay
started taking some of the classes and then began assisting with training the
fighters and private clients.
Now, Jay is one of Bulldog Gym Castle Hill’s trainers, taking several classes, and
private clients, as well as training the amateur fighters in preparation for their
fights.
Jay also holds pads for WBC world champion Steve McKinnon, which is
no easy feat for someone with such power and demand for perfection. Jay is the
trainer for the kid’s class where the future bulldog gym champions are being
groomed. Jay’s training style is best known for his attention to detail and is ideal
for those who want to perfect their technique.
